Programs

Infants (6 weeks to 12 months)

In our infant program we start at the bottom of our "Learning Ladder”. Although the infants are small, there are many developmental milestones in a baby’s first year that our teachers are attentive to. The teachers strive to maintain a clean, happy, and loving atmosphere. An infant’s day consists of rocking, swinging, tummy time, jumping, playing, singing songs, eating, and napping. We also try to get the babies to a set eating and napping schedule. Since babies crave consistency, knowing what to expect and when is very comforting to them. We keep daily sheets on each baby to inform parents about their child’s eating, sleeping, and diapering schedule. From here your baby will climb the ladder to the Waddler room.

Waddlers (12 months – 2 years old)

Our Waddler room is the second step on our "Learning Ladder”. At this stage in your baby’s development, they are becoming very mobile. The babies are crawling, walking, climbing, and beginning to speak. The teachers keep these little ones busy with play and a daily routine. A waddler’s day consists of circle time, art projects, singing songs, reading books, indoor and outdoor play time, and more. Every baby is on the same eating and napping schedule. We keep daily sheets on each baby to inform parents about their child’s day and their eating, sleeping, and diapering schedule. By 24 months, your little one is climbing up the ladder to the Munchkin room.

Munchkins (2 years old – 2.5 years old)

You are now on our third step of "The Learning Ladder”. Here in the Munchkin room our babies are becoming a lot more independent. They will continue to develop the skills of walking, running, and jumping while learning to speak clearer and verbalize their needs. A munchkin’s day consists of circle time, art projects, singing songs, reading books, music and dancing, play-dough, puzzles, indoor and outdoor play, and more. Next they will climb up to the Toddler room.

Toddlers (2.5 years old – 3 years old)

Here in the Toddler room, you are half way up "The Learning Ladder”. These toddlers are very curious exploring everything around them and trying everything by themselves. They are also learning to communicate and express themselves better. A toddler’s day consists of circle time, art projects, singing songs, reading books, music and dancing, exercise, puzzles, indoor and outdoor play, and more. They are getting a sense of colors, shapes, ABC’s and 123’s before climbing up into our Pre-School class.

Pre-School 1 (young 3 year olds)

You are almost at the top of our "Learning Ladder”. Our three year olds are becoming bigger children now. They are aware of so much more around them, speaking clearly, and socially developing to make friends. A pre-schooler’s day consists of all the things in the toddler room, circle time, art projects, singing songs, reading books, music and dancing, exercise, puzzles, indoor and outdoor play, as well as learning colors, shapes, numbers, letters, recognizing their names, and writing. It is a very exciting time to see all the changes and growth this year while preparing them to climb the ladder to Pre-School 2.

Pre-School 2 (older 3 year olds)

One more room to go until you climbed your way to the top of our "Learning Ladder”. This pre-school 2 room is designed for older three year olds, some who will just miss the cut off for pre-kindergarten. At this point your little one is not so little and will really amaze you with all that has been taught. Your child will be able to trace, write some letters and numbers, understand feelings and emotions, play with friends better, and have a more creative imagination. In pre-school 2 a day consists of circle time, learning the days of the week, months of the year, building math skills, learning numbers and letters, art projects, singing, story time, music and dance, indoor and outdoor play, and more. From here you climb to top into Pre-Kindergarten.

Pre-Kindergarten (4 year old)

Congratulations! You have climbed to the top of "The Learning Ladder” and are in Pre-Kindergarten. This is the last step before going to your new school. Here in Pre-k you will learn so much to prepare you for kindergarten. An advantage of our Pre- k consists of learning circle time, the days of the week, months of the year, reading, writing, and building math skills. In addition, you will be doing art projects, singing, story time, music, dance, indoor and outdoor play, and much more. You have climbed to a brighter future with us!
